And we are back for another weekly discussion of the media consumed (and what else).

Mamo No.1, Sas Milledge

Sas Milledge. Mamo

My somewhat recent obsession with comics and graphic novels continues, so I decided to pick up something, as I thought, magical and whimsical. Turned out, the first no. Of Mamo by Sas Milledge was not about those things. The actions that happen seem to lack sense and motivation behind them. The characters appear to be cliché-driven and boring. It may be wrong to judge the whole thing by the first issue; however, no matter how much I’m into everything witch/witchcraft related, I’ll pass on this one.

The tea dragon society, K. O’Neil

K. O'Neil. The tea dragon society

This one is just cute and wholesome. I wouldn’t say I’m truly interested in reading other volumes, as I wasn’t really engaged with the whole story. Notwithstanding, as a one-time feel-better read this works, and I think it’s alright as a quality.

This week wasn’t really about reading and watching, rather about creating. I’ve spent hours in Premiere Pro and After Effects (which I become to appreciate more and more). Will see how it all will turn out, but at this time I’m enjoying the process.
